Having booked an appointment with Shampoochie by Sharon, you will have read and agreed to the following:
Bookings and Cancellations
When booking, you will pay a 50% deposit to secure your appointment. If a cancellation needs to be made:
at least 48 hours before your appointment, you will be fully refunded.
with less than 24 hours, you will lose your deposit unless you are able to re-book for another day.
Pricing
Please note, all prices are quoted "from" and depending on size and condition of your dog, they are subject to increase.
Fleas
If your dog has fleas, (depending on the severity, I may have to stop the session - see section below, Refusal To Continue To Groom) this will incur an extra £8 charge on top of the price quoted. This is simply because I will need to take more care afterwards to de-flea my salon.
Matting
Your best friend deserves to be treated with the upmost care and respect. If your dog is severely matted to the point that it would cause discomfort to them to brush out, clipping may be the only option.
Refusal to Continue with Groom
There may be circumstances where it is safer to discontinue grooming your dog. I will stop, if during your dog's appointment, they shows signs of:
Aggression;
Extreme Nerves;
Severe Infestation of Fleas;
Any concerns spotted in the health check beforehand could also prevent me from continuing a groom.
Safety and the well-being of your dog and myself will always take priority. This is something that we can work on together for their next groom, and I am more than happy to help explore options with you if this ever becomes an issue.
Insurance
I hold Public Liability Insurance.
Respect/Communication/GDPR
I will respect you and your furry friend and in return would appreciate the same. Communication is key and I will make sure you are happy with everything before your dog enters my salon. I will hold up to date information on your dog's physical and mental well-being, your personal details including address, phone number and email. Please keep me updated if anything changes.
